Luke Umana, MD, D-ABOM, FACS, FASMBS, provides care with the Springfield Clinic's Bariatric Surgery team and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Main Campus East.
Dr. Umana earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He also completed a bariatric and advanced minimally invasive surgery fellowship at AdventHealth Tampa in Florida.

With board certifications in general surgery and obesity medicine, Dr. Umana offers a comprehensive range of obesity treatment options — from lifestyle changes and medications to the most current bariatric surgery procedures, all performed at MBSAQIP accredited facilities.
Dr. Umana takes a patient-centered approach to weight management, building long-term relationships and providing guidance from the initial consultation through post-operative follow-ups. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his children, exercising, and playing soccer.
